I actualy have four children however I was not able to have a fun birth with any of them they all tryed to come premature so I was in hospital under monitors and drugs. Only one made it to 38 weeks and that one my husband made me go to the hospital for the birth at the last minute. I have wanted to do a waterbirth but the option has not been avalible to me however I do see americans using the option more. The most common way for americans to have there babys is similer to the way I had mine even if it is not an abnormal or dangerous birth. Most do not look for natural ways to releave there pain they get drugs and lay in bed. I wish I could say I have done a water birth but I was not so luckey but I have heard that for some people that makes the pain go away and I know when I was in the shower on my last birth it felt really good.Are you a mother yet?

I would be happy to chat with you. You are just starting your studies too do midwives there receave nursing training? Do doctors supervise midwives? sorry I was just wondering.

hi wideeya. yer that would be cool. its nice to chat to people with same interests. im applying for and access course this yr which lasts one yr and then i can do my 3 yr degree so 4 yrs in total. cant wait to get started, how r u finding the course. r u on face book. maybe we could chat on there also. im under victoria merrifield.
